The views and opinions expressed herein are mine and mine alone. I do this because I like to write and I like music. I’m not looking to win any awards with this, and I’m not looking to ruffle any feathers. I’m going to be honest about what I see and hear. I don’t mean to be insensitive or rude, but unfortunately that’s going to happen. I hope those of you I review will take everything I write with a grain of salt and look at it as constructive criticism. I’ve been in bands myself and know what you go through to get on that stage and I respect each and everyone of you. I just don’t like you all very much.

I’m hoping that this blog will help to bring about a more cohesive community in my local music scene. It’s something I know about and I have a decent number of contacts in the Canton/New Philadelphia, OH music scene so it makes sense for me to make this the subject of my blog.

Remember that there is no such thing as bad publicity. If I review your band and say that you suck, the chances are that someone will read this blog, check you out and enjoy your music. While it may not seem like it, I’m looking to help everyone I cover.

Also remember that those who can’t do: teach. Those who can’t teach: criticize.

  3. hey, there is no album in the dzon3 discography at the time, but if you’d like, I’d love a review on our soundcloud Paige’s music. We would like to hear your thoughts-what you like or don’t like. Thank you and all is appreciated!

    • Hey guys, thanks for checking out my page. I checked out your stuff, but I’m gonna pass on reviewing it as I’m not a big fan of rap and wouldn’t begin to know how to write a review of it. I did really dig the background music in “This Is…” Was that from an old movie? I kinda got that impression.
      Thanks again.

      • The “This Is…” beat does have something to it that makes it seem familiar, but I’m not really sure if it’s from an old movie or not. To me, it’s just super laid back. But yeah, thanks for looking at our stuff, we’re grateful for any recognition as of now being kids in a small town. And you post some pretty good music on your blog, so I’ll continue to drop by and check it out forsure.

We really appreciate that you enjoyed our music and I would love to get in contact with you about our C.D. release happening and even hooking you up with some free tickets to a show this summer!
